Evaluation of Clinical Outcomes After Revascularization in Patients With Chronic Limb-Threatening Ischemia: Results From a Prospective National Cohort Study (RIVALUTANDO)

چکیده
A prospective, multicenter, cohort study from Italy December 2016 to 2018. For 287 patients with chronic limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI) who underwent open, endovascular, or hybrid lower extremity revascularization, the 30-day major adverse cardiovascular and limb events (MALE) rates were 3% 2%, respectively. At 1 year, overall survival, amputation-free freedom MALE, primary patency rate was 89%, 87%, 63%, 71%, Smoking, renal failure, Rutherford class ≥5, below-the-knee arterial disease significant predictors of amputation after multivariate analysis. Iloprost infusion a protective factor against cilostazol restenosis. Medical treatment, including statins, cilostazol, iloprost, associated improved 1-year restenosis amputation.

Comparison of Clinical Outcomes after Surgical and Endovascular Revascularization in Hemodialysis Patients with Critical Limb Ischemia
AIM The treatment strategy for hemodialysis (HD) patients with critical limb ischemia (CLI) has been clinically debatable. Here we compared clinical outcomes after bypass surgery (BSX) and after endovascular therapy (EVT) using propensity score matching. METHODS A retrospective multicenter database of 246 (68 BSX and 178 EVT) consecutive HD patients with CLI (79% with tissue loss) who underwe...

متن کاملAngiopoietin-2 impairs revascularization after limb ischemia.
Angiopoietins play important roles in the formation of neovessels and complex vascular networks. Angiopoietin (Ang)-1 and Ang-2 belong to a family of growth factors that display opposing effects on the activation of Tie2 (tyrosine kinase with immunoglobulin and epidermal growth factor homology domain 2). Endothelial Ang-2 expression is associated with vessel destabilization and regulates a bala...
